Kilimanjaro! Kilimanjaro!
In 2001 Mom, Dad, and I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Shira Plateau. It was an amazing trek through cultivated land, forest, heather, moorland, alpine forest, and finally, the summit. We were lucky to climb Kibo while it was still glaciated.
