Tanzanian birds

Mom and I spent a week with Earthwatch helping Dr. Bill Newmark research the “metapopulation dynamics of understory bird communities on two archipelgoes of forest fragments in the East and West Usambara Mountains.” I was thrilled to be working on a project exploring forest fragments, a concept I first encountered when learning about Spotted Owl conservation in the Pacific Northwest. Species total = 41
